Thursday, October 18
12:30 to 3:30pm: Oasis Cinema
High School Students from Nogales and Rio Rico, Arizona will be showing films that they have made. Valeria Fernandez (Two Americans) and Genevieve Anderson (Dust-Wun) will be on hand to speak to the students about film making and give some remarks of the Student works

6:00pm: Welcome Reception at The Americana Hotel
Nogales Arizona Meet and Greet, Cocktails and Botanas

7:30pm: Transportation to the border to cross over to the Museo de Arte in Nogales Sonora for the Opening Ceremony

8:00pm: Opening Ceremony and Movie Screening on the Terrace of the Museum. Beer, Wine and Tequila. Botanas and Palomitas.

A simultaneous projection on both sides of the border fence where Calle Obregon meets the fence on the Mexican Side and where West Street meets the border on the US side.

Screening of “El Norte” a dramatic border crossing involving Central American Immigrants.

10:00pm to 11:00pm: After the Film MUSIC MIGRATION / MIGRACION de MUSICA will commence with music groups on both sides of the border jamming simultaneous International Sets.
